FAQs

What is the minimum number of persons to be considered as a school group?

To be considered as a group there must be at least 25 paying students unless specifically stated otherwise in the quotation.

Are teachers and drivers also obliged to pay the tourist tax?

Yes, in fact, tourist taxes are normally payable from the age of 16, unless otherwise specified in the budget, so they do affect teachers, drivers and students over the age specified in the budget.

How many people are the ski groups?

The maximum number of students per ski instructor is 12, although exceptions can sometimes be made and more students can be added if the school and the instructors agree.

When is the rented ski equipment collected?

Our recommendation, as well as the preference of the shops and the school groups themselves, is to be able to collect the material the day before classes start in order to optimise time the following morning. In fact, most of the shops, as far as possible, tend to extend their closing hours to provide the service on the day the group arrives.

How many hours of skiing are with instructors?

The minimum required by the ski schools is 2 hours of lessons per day and can be up to 5 hours of lessons per day. Once the lessons have been completed, students can enjoy free skiing for the rest of the day.

Can I contract transport with Viajes Estiber?

Of course. Viajes Estiber has an extensive network of transport partners to provide this service.

What does the insurance included in the trip cover?

This is a travel insurance that extends to the ski slopes, so that students and teachers are covered for the entire trip against illness or injury whether skiing or not, up to the limits set by the specific policy. The specific conditions and limits are provided on request when requesting a quote. The days of insurance cover will be the same as the duration of the trip.
