Yes, beginners who do not have their own equipment or who prefer not to travel with it, have the option of renting skis in the same sectors of Les Sybelles. Ski equipment hire is available in Saint Sorlin d'Arves, La Toussuire, Saint Colomban - Villards, Le Corbier and Saint Jean d'Arves. Some accommodations also offer this service.
How many kilometres and slopes does the ski area of Les Sybelles have?
The ski area of Les Sybelles is one of the largest in France: it is 310 kilometres long, with up to 142 pistes. There are slopes of all levels, although the easy and intermediate slopes predominate: 37 green slopes, 37 blue slopes, 59 red slopes and 9 black slopes. These marked trails are distributed over seven resorts or sectors.

Yes, Les Sybelles is a complex ski area where you will find everything you need. Freestyle enthusiasts can practise their tricks and pirouettes in a snowpark. There are also three boardercross, four freeride slopes for those who want to go off-piste in alpine landscapes with more virgin snow, as well as several play areas for the whole family to enjoy.
