Information on the Formigal live snow report

Do you already know when you will travel to the slopes of Formigal? Check the daily updated information on the snow conditions in Formigal to decide the dates with knowledge and know what awaits you on the slopes. With this information you can find out which slopes are open right now, the kilometres available to assess whether it is worth going now or waiting for another time, the ski lifts that are in operation to move around the ski area or the thickness of the snow and its quality.

On the Formigal piste map you will be able to see how the marked routes are distributed and where each of its sectors is located. In total there are 101 slopes and a snowpark. The minimum altitude is 1.500 metres and the maximum altitude is 2.308 metres. This is the state of the snow in Formigal by sectors:

  • Sextas. As we can see in the Formigal slopes map, this is the lowest area of the ski resort, which is why it is usually the one that suffers the greatest shortage of snow in times of low rainfall, so it tends to close more frequently.
  • Anayet. This is in the central area of the resort, with a sector for beginners and alternative red and black runs. Take a look at the Aramón snow report to find out how its pistes are.
  • Izas-Sarrios. This is the area with the best slopes in Formigal due to its beauty and altitude, which guarantees good snow quality throughout the ski season. It is in a valley enclosed by mountains in the shape of a glacial cirque.
  • Portalet. This is the last sector that can be reached by following the road. It is in an area known for having less overcrowding and an environment with plenty of virgin snow. Check the snow conditions in Formigal for daily updated details.
