Information on the Baqueira Beret live snow report
How is the latest snowfall reflected in the state of the Baqueira slopes? Has the temperature in recent days affected the snow thicknesses? All this and much more can be found in the daily updated information on the state of the slopes of Baqueira Beret.
The piste map of Baqueira, one of the best alpine ski resorts in the Catalan Pyrenees, shows the location of the 113 marked slopes, with a fairly balanced distribution by level of difficulty: there are 5 green pistes, 43 blue, 48 red and 17 black. There is also a snowpark and, in Pla de Beret, an ideal area for beginners to cross-country skiing.
The high temperatures and lack of precipitation may have led to the closure of some pistes, ski kilometres and lifts. Take a look at the snow conditions in Baqueira to decide whether the dates are right for your skiing getaway or whether it's worth waiting a little while. You can see which lifts are in operation, the kilometres available by difficulty and the quantity and quality of snow on the slopes. These are the sectors of Baqueira Beret:
- Baqueira. This is at 1,500 m above sea level, the lowest in the resort, and where there is the least amount of accumulated snow when it is scarce, although it also has pistes that reach quite high.
- Beret. Between 1,850 and 2,516 metres above sea level. The Baqueira piste map shows routes for beginners and veterans.
- Bonaigua. This is the sector with the highest altitude, so it is usually where the snow is thickest.
- Baciver. For advanced skiers, at the highest altitudes of the resort, which also boasts good snow conditions in Baqueira Beret.
