When is the best time to ski in Courchevel?

To get the most from your trip to the ski slopes of Courchevel, we recommend going from the Christmas holidays onwards. At the end of December, and especially in January and February, is when the snow conditions in the French Alps are at their best, with good thicknesses. The quality of snow is still good during Easter, so Courchevel is a good destination at this time of year.


Does Courchevel have snowparks and off-piste areas?

Yes, we can enjoy the family snowpark in Courchevel called Family Park, next to the Verdons piste, above the village at an altitude of 1,850 metres. There are modules with different levels of difficulty. Courchevel also has many wild areas for freeriding, ski touring and splitboarding off-piste with qualified guides.


How many km and slopes are there in the Courchevel ski area?

The Courchevel ski resort is part of the impressive 600 km ski area of Les 3 Vallées in the French Alps. However, if we focus only on the slopes, it has a total of 150 km. There are 102 varied marked slopes: 51 easy, 41 intermediate and 10 difficult, at altitudes of between 1,300 and 2,734 metres above sea level.
